Project

Legal disclaimer

UNDO is an independent project in development. Nothing on this site is financial or legal advice, and the simulation moves no real funds.

Status of the project

UNDO is an independent project. The product is in development. No smart contract is deployed, no audit has taken place, and no real payment is protected by UNDO today.

Every number in these docs is a planned parameter. Parameters, features and timelines may change before launch, and some features may never launch. The Guarantee Pool in particular is subject to legal review.

No advice

Nothing on this site is financial advice, legal advice or tax advice. The content is general information about a protocol design.

Nothing on this site is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any asset, to deposit funds or to enter into any agreement. You are responsible for your own decisions and for following the laws that apply to you. If you need advice, speak to a qualified professional.

The simulation

The simulator moves no real funds.

  • It never sends a transaction.
  • It never asks for a signature or an approval.
  • The wallet connection is read-only and is used for identity and to read a USDC balance.

All bonds, payments, disputes and refunds shown in the simulation are sample data. They create no rights and no obligations.

Arbitration and consumer law

Arbitration outcomes do not replace consumer law. The planned dispute process is a protocol mechanism. It is not a court and not a statutory dispute body.

A buyer keeps every right they have under the law that applies to their purchase. A seller keeps every legal obligation to their customers. An arbitration outcome inside UNDO does not remove either.

Protection through UNDO has limits. Refunds depend on the seller's escrowed balance and bond, and later on the Guarantee Pool if it launches. A refund may be partial or unavailable. See Risks.

No affiliation

UNDO has no affiliation with Circle, Arc or any other company. It is not endorsed, sponsored or reviewed by any of them. "Built on Arc" describes the network the contracts are planned to run on and nothing more.

Names of wallets, standards and networks are used only to describe compatibility. All trademarks belong to their owners.

The token

$UNDO is not launched. There is no contract address. Any token using this name today is not ours.

The launch and the official contract address will be announced only on X at x.com/UndoOnArc. Nothing in these docs is a statement about the future value of any token, and no return of any kind is promised.

You will never need $UNDO to pay or to get paid. Payments, bonds and fees stay in USDC and EURC.

Open-source attribution

UNDO's design extends the Refund Protocol published by Circle Research under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The Refund Protocol is open-source. UNDO's contracts are a separate rewrite, and UNDO is independent and not endorsed by Circle.

The Apache 2.0 licence provides the original work "as is", without warranties or conditions of any kind. The licence notice and attribution will be included with UNDO's source code when it is published.
